Produced by Holy Trinity Monastery Towards the end of the funeral service, the priest reads a prayer of absolution. A paper containing this prayer is rolled up and placed in the hand of the reposed. Our newly-printed absolution prayers, printed in three colors, are in English and are designed to match the funeral headbands.

Produced by Holy Trinity Monastery According to tradition, the Trisagion hymn ("Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.") was taught to us by the Angels. In preparation for the Orthodox funeral service, a headband inscribed with the Trisagion is placed on the forehead of the reposed, as a symbol of the crown of glory received by the faithful in Christ, as well as the hope that our departed loved one is sharing in the angelic life. Our new funeral headbands are printed in English in bright, vivid colors.
